ABBA: Against the Odds is a 2024 documentary film directed by James Rogan and co-produced by several European Broadcasting Union member broadcasters, including the BBC (United Kingdom), SVT (Sweden), DR (Denmark), ČT (Czech Republic), ERR (Estonia), France Télévisions (France), NRK (Norway), NTR (Netherlands), RÚV (Iceland), VRT (Belgium) and Yle (Finland), making it the largest-ever collaboration of EBU member stations on a documentary film. It was produced in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of ABBA's victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 1974 with the song "Waterloo", which was Sweden's first ever win at the contest.
The documentary premiered at the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival (CPH:DOX) on March 23, 2024. It made its television premiere in Sweden on SVT1 on April 9, 2024. Several networks will air the documentary as part of their programming plans for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
