International Broadcasts Wiki

The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed for excellence in both American and international film and television, owned by Golden Globe Foundation. It is an annual award ceremony held since 1944 to honor artists and professionals and their work. The ceremony is normally held every January, and has been a major part of the film industry's awards season, which culminates each year in the Academy Awards. The eligibility period for the Golden Globes corresponded from January 1 through December 31 (except 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1979, 2008, and 2022, which were not televised privately at all without a telecast).

HFPA was rebranded to Golden Globe Foundation on June 12, 2023, and after that, the Golden Globe Awards moved from NBC to CBS on January 7, 2024.
